Senior Network Infrastructure Architect

Position Details: Term:  12 months - potential to convert to perm after 6 month with our client in the Apparel Manufacturing industry
Location: Hybrid or Remote - candidates must be within 3 hours flight to Los Angeles. 
Hours: Day shift - Mon-Friday 8-5pm PT
Competitive Salary, benefit package including health, PTO, 401K match and much moreAs a Senior Network Infrastructure Architect, you will be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex network and IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of a wide range of technologies, including Cisco Networking, Fortinet Firewalls, Microsoft solutions, identity management with Okta, and advanced security tools such as Menlo Security and Rapid7.
What you'll do as the Senior Network Infrastructure Architect:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Cisco Data Networking: Lead the design, configuration, and management of Cisco networking equipment, including Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnects, Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Switches and Catalyst Wireless Controller 9800.Oversee network monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.Cisco Storage Networking:Manage Cisco Nexus MDS SAN Switches, VSAN Zoning with Cisco DCNM.Fortinet Technologies: Design, Implement and Manage. Design, deploy and manage Fortigate Firewalls using SDWANDesign, deploy and manage Forticlient EMS Solutions for advanced network security.Design, deploy and manage FortiNAC for Network Access Control.Design, deploy and manage FortiAuthenticator for MFA access control.Microsoft Technologies: Lead the implementation and management of Windows Servers and Hyper-V virtualization for a reliable server infrastructure.Oversee Microsoft Office 365 and Azure services for cloud-based solutions.Administer System Center Data Protection Manager and Virtual Machine Manager and Endpoint Configuration Manager.Knowledge of Microsoft Network Policy Server (RADIUS)Identity Management and Access Control: Architect and manage Okta for identity and access management, ensuring a secure and seamless user experience.Network Infrastructure: Design, maintain, and optimize network components, including EMC SAN and Dell Compellent SAN.Implement and manage System Center Endpoint Configuration Manager.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless network infrastructure.Security and Threat Protection: Implement/Manage advanced security solutions such as Menlo Security for remote isolated browsing and Rapid7 for vulnerability management.Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity practices and technologies.What you'll bring to the table: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.Fortinet certifications are highly desirable.Proven experience with Cisco Networking, Fortinet Firewalls, Microsoft technologies, and the specified systems.Proficiency in cloud services, including Microsoft Azure and Office 365.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.If you are a seasoned Senior Network IT Infrastructure Engineer/Architect with a proven track record of architecting, managing, and optimizing complex network environments, along with expertise in a wide range of networking, security, identity management, and cloud technologies, we invite you to apply.
