Senior Nutrition Supervisor

This is a full-time position working M-F, 8am-4:30pm. Days and hours could vary due to business needs. Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Senior Nutrition Supervisor, you will assist the program manager with day-to-day functions of the Senior Nutrition program to include traveling to community centers, timekeeping, and complying with policy. The supervisor will assist the Manager to ensure quality and consistency throughout the Senior Nutrition program. You will report to the Senior Nutrition Manager.

Primary Tasks:

1.       Oversee the operations of Senior Nutrition program which feeds approximately 3,000 elder persons at 17 community centers across the Choctaw Nation Reservation and Tuskahoma cafeteria.

2.       Provide training and support to all Senior Nutrition staff; approximately 70 part-time and 8 full-time associates.

3.       Approve invoices in Hoshonti and complete timekeeping tasks in Kronos.

4.       Assist the Manager with performance reviews and the annual salary administration process.

5.       Ensure policies and procedures are followed and effective; stay current and knowledgeable with Title VI guidelines.

6.       Attend community center luncheons and activities to assess the quality of the program and report concerns to the manager.

7.       Prepare and submit monthly reports to granting agencies and Choctaw Nation leadership.

8.       Collect vehicle mileage reports and receipts to turn into fleet; ensure vehicles receive routine maintenance.

9.       Attend OICOA and Title VI meetings, which may include travel.

10.    You will perform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

·         Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Proficient in Microsoft applications

·         Valid Driver’s license

·         Two years of supervisory experience in related field
