The position is REMOTE in Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal)
We are looking for a Senior Observability Splunk Engineer (+5years of experience) with strong technical skills and excellent English communication abilities to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Our client is an insurance and financial services company that offers a wide range of products and solutions in areas such as protection, savings and investment, pensions, and mortgages.
What you are going to do:
You will build, maintain and coach around our observability tools like Splunk and ITSI. Together with your observability colleagues you will setup dashboards, guard data quality and coach users how to make good use of this within their business unit.
What else do you do?
▪ Actively discuss the desired functionalities with users
▪ Implement new functionalities
▪ Monitor the quality and integrate your product into the already available facilities
▪ Work in a team and function as a backup for your colleagues
▪ Coach your colleagues on skills that you excel in
Technical requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years of Splunk experience
• Knowledge of Infra and Cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript and Java
• Ability to independently take on projects
• Ability to coach / train people in your product
Need of Splunk Core Certified Power User or Splunk Core Certified Advanced Power User
