Job Description
Principle ResponsibilitiesProven results as an Occupancy PlannerOversees a more complex asset or region for the client portfolio. May also oversee a larger business unit or more complete business unit relationship and often conducts special projects related to occupancy such as M&As.May carry managerial responsibilities for multiple occupancy planners on a team.Direct the overall planning and development of new spatial activities and the activities of current projects and programsWork closely with peers on the account leadership team, other service lines, and client representatives regarding proper staffing, future projects, and maintaining proper client relationshipsPrepare operational presentations and reports illustrating Space pipeline, progress, challenges, opportunities, and recommendations. Conduct meetings with clients, Space team members and cross-functional account members to inform, consult, request action, and seek approval with internal and client stakeholders.Ensure compliance with core program standards - all C&W tools, processes, templates, and outputs standardized and customized to the clientDemonstrate proactive solutioning through root cause analysis, solution development, evaluation of options, and alternatives and recommendation of the best course of action for projects, processes, and overall program operationsCollaborate with IFM, PDS, and client RE leadership for alignment and day-to-day operations. Recommend adjustments to processes when misalignment is identifiedOversee the creation and maintenance of playbooks, templates, and toolsCoach the team in providing effective space planning solutions and move management delivery for all project types (expansions, relocations, consolidations, refreshes); client relationship management; vendor relationship management; talent management; and resource utilizationDirect the development of planning proposals, site assessments for space efficiencies, utilization metrics, and supply and demand studies and direct the delivery of project activities, including relocations, restacks, renovations, and consolidationsEstablish goals and objectives with timetables for the organizational unit and sub-units supervisedRequirementsBachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related discipline or field of study (i.e. Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management Planning/Coordination, Facilities, Project or Construction Management, etc.)Five to Seven years experience in a corporate real estate environmentPossesses strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendationsMaintains a working knowledge of CAFM software, space management systems and relational database functionality.Demonstrates proficiency in architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & designExperienced in managing projects of varied scope and complexityProficient in MS Office Suite software applicationsExcellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAble to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective servicesStrong oral, written and presentation skillsAssumes ownership of requests in order to ensure successful completionStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and directionCopyright © 2020 Cushman & Wakefield.
