Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent in the defense sector.
Source and identify candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, industry events, and networking.
Screen and assess candidates to ensure they meet the required qualifications and experience for the roles.
Conduct initial interviews and coordinate with hiring managers for further evaluations.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the specific needs and requirements of each open position.
Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and progress to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding recruitment and employment practices.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting, preferably within the defense or aerospace sectors. Strong knowledge of the defense industry, including cyber security, communications, and surveillance. Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates for technical and specialized roles. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
