Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned risk professional to manage our RCSA Program and team within Operational Risk Management (ORM). The role offers a unique opportunity to work with senior leadership and business lines across the Bank, gaining exposure to the broad scope of the Bank’s operations. This role is crucial in helping the Bank adequately assess, understand, measure, monitor and manage key risks, ultimately leading to a stronger and more robust control environment.
Essential Functions:
Supports the Director of Operational Risk in driving a cultural change that fosters ownership and accountability for RCSA activities, empowers self-governance, and ensures the independence of the second line of defense.
Supports and independently oversee the banks execution against the RCSA program, methodologies and associated policy and procedures.
Maintains the RCSA program, methodologies and associated policy and procedures, working closely with key stakeholders in the three lines of defense to ensure effective communication of material changes.
Leads a team of experienced and highly motivated risk professionals.
Supports the team in the creation and implementation of training, communication, and awareness to facilitate effective RCSA adoption and foster a robust risk management culture.
Develops and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to gauge the efficiency, effectiveness and risk levels related to the RCSA.
Analyzes complex information and large data sets, distilling key insights for clear and effective communication and presentation to senior management.

Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field and 10+ years of experience in risk management or other directly related field in the financial services industry. Management experience required. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Advanced understanding of operational risk management practices including risk and control self-assessment concepts.
Ability to work with all levels of management and staff, as well as outside regulators and auditors.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver clear, well-structured presentations.
Ability to present complex issues in a straightforward and simple manner.
Serve as a proactive advocate for change, promoting and facilitating the adoption of new processes, practices and cultural shifts within the organization.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with GRC platform (Archer) and reporting tools (Power BI) desired.
