The Operations Engineer reports to Technical Leadership and provides manufacturing expertise to solve difficult problems and continuously improve our manufacturing organization and/or supply base. Provides leadership and direction in manufacturing for programming, processing, tooling or working with development engineering on new hardware. This person will sit at our Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL.

Provides advanced technical solutions and leads team through processDevises new approaches to problems encounteredInitiates, justifies, and implements new advanced capital equipment purchasesCreates cell layouts and leads process improvement initiatives of high complexityUses solid Six Sigma and lean tools to improve processesImplements complex engineering changes. Coaches other staff on the execution of engineering changes and seamless transition.Creates, maintains and develops new process documentation.
