Senior Operations Manager

The Opportunity

Portland Tractor Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team in Langley, BC. As the Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Operations team, with a focus on standardizing and streamlining processes, and elevating our people and branch operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

As the Senior Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:  

Develop and achieve operational KPIs and business plan objectives Oversee and drive continuous improvement throughout the organization to increase operational profitability Work closely with the Controller to lead integration of new entities, processes, and systems Manage key operations of the business including inventory management and distribution, service throughput, logistics, and quality control Develop and implement business plan initiatives with the Service and Parts teams to achieve departmental objectives Ensure compliance with standards within the Service and Parts departments to ensure a consistent customer experience Coach, develop, and drive the operations team to higher levels of success Meet with operations and business unit leaders on a regular basis Provide reports to senior management

Required Skills & Qualifications 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:  

 Post-secondary degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Management or a related discipline Proven leadership ability with at least five years of parts and/or service management experience Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Superior organizational skills and planning skills Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization Adept at multitasking and managing conflicting priorities Confident self-starter with the ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity Team player with the ability to establish respect amongst peers and reports

The base pay range for this role is: $110,000 to $135,000 per year, depending on experience, plus bonuses.

This is an onsite role based in Langley, BC.
