In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.
Process Overview*
Global Finance was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Treasury Management Support on Capital, Liquidity and Balance Sheet Management, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support & Regulatory reporting. Over the years, the scope of Global Finance has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.
The Global Regulatory Reporting (GRR) function, a part of the Global Financial Control organization within the CFO Group, is responsible for accurate filing of non-liquidity related financial regulatory reports including call reports, cross-Border BEA and state fillings, FINREP, COREP, AnaCredit & Statistical reporting.
Job Description*
GRR has set up a multi-year program to perform conformance and transaction testing on GRR high-risk reports. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver a significant business transformation across operating model, process improvement and automation as part of a wider transformation initiative.
Responsibilities*
The individual will need to provide thought leadership to the Report owners to identify and drive process redesign within their reporting teamsThe individual will need to lead the review and challenge of current processes in collaboration with report owners to identify transformational re-designThe role will require both extensive project management experience and proven experience at working in a variety of roles within Financial services across Finance, Operations or Risk ManagementThe individual will need to demonstrate the skills required to deliver a complex and multi-faceted project end to endThe candidate will be responsible for both medium/long term project planning, as well as day-to-day task tracking and monitoring of risks, issues and dependencies to ensure momentum is achieved and sustainedThis is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has demonstrable experience on large-scale op model, process or data transformations to manage and deliver a significant and high profile initiativeRequirements*
Education*
Education – Chartered Accountant or post-graduate degree in business
Experience Range*
15+ years of which at least 10 years in relevant roles i.e. Regulatory reporting production, legal entity controller, product controller, risk management, operations, etc.
Foundational skills*
Strong background in financial regulatory reporting in the UK and Europe – COREP, FINREP, etc.Deep understanding of prevalent regulatory environment and emerging regulatory expectationsAbility to manage senior stakeholder relationships and provide leadership updatesProven experience in providing thought leadership on process redesignStrong project management experience structuring and delivering complex initiativesDemonstrates a healthy skepticism and ability to partner with a multiple stakeholdersCollaborative team player with clear examples of working across teams and positively influencing other areas not under their direct reporting linesAbility to positively drive work forward and create a strong team environmentStructured approach to defining, executing and evidencing deliverablesAbility to operate within a global environment working with stakeholders from multiple locations and time zonesExperience in identifying and managing the risks, issues and dependencies inherent in delivering complex regulatory changePrevious experience of implementing complex regulatory change programmes into business as usual (BAU) reporting environments (E.G.
