Kforce's client, a growing engineering technology is seeking a Senior or Principal Radar Algorithm Engineer in Orem, UT. Summary: We are working directly with the hiring manager on this exclusive search assignment and have placed a few engineers in this group. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving a variety of radar algorithms, with a focus on those related to radar signal processing and target detection/tracking preferably in the area of MTI and STAP or similar applications. Responsibilities: * Design and validate effective and efficient signal processing algorithms for target detection and tracking * Implement those algorithms on embedded hardware with timing and resource utilization constraints (primarily using C++) * Develop test cases using real-world data to validate the efficacy of the algorithms and iterate the design process based on deficiencies * Work with various engineering teams to ensure that the radar output meets their requirements
