Description We are offering a contract-to-hire Senior Oracle Database Administrator opportunity for a client of ours in Broward County. The successful candidate will work on-site, playing a pivotal role in administering thier Oracle Exadata systems, managing Oracle RAC environments, and implementing data security measures. Responsibilities: • Oversee the administration and maintenance of Oracle Exadata systems to guarantee high availability, performance, and scalability. • Optimize Oracle RAC environments to facilitate seamless failover, load balancing, and fault tolerance. • Employ Data Masking and Redaction techniques to boost data security and compliance. • Ensure the peak performance of Oracle Database environments (10g, 19c) through continuous support and maintenance. • Conduct regular database tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization to address performance bottlenecks. • Formulate and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. • Supervise database patching, upgrades, and migrations, including version upgrades. • Develop, monitor, and enforce database security policies. • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders in the design and deployment of database solutions. • Manage the implementation and maintenance of APEX and ORDS. Requirements • Must possess extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle 10g. • Proficiency in Oracle Database 19c is required. • Applicants should demonstrate a strong understanding of Oracle DBA. • Familiarity with Oracle DB is a necessity. • Experience with Oracle Data Guard is highly desirable. • Candidates should be adept in Oracle SQL. • Proficiency in Oracle SQL Developer is a requirement. • Experience in Oracle Real Application Cluster is essential. • Knowledge of Real Application Clusters (RAC) is a must. • Must have experience with Oracle Exadata. • Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Manager is desired. • AWR skills are highly beneficial. • Experience with Oracle GoldenGate is a significant plus.
