Senior Oracle HCM IS Applications Analyst

This position is hybrid/remote and can sit in the footprint of Providence in the states of AK, WA, OR, CA, TX and MT. Ideal candidate would reside in the Portland/Beaverton, OR, Renton/Seattle, WA, or Irvine, CA main office locations. Full-time hybrid position – remote work will be considered. Possible required travel up to 10% of work schedule.

The Senior Oracle HCM IS Applications Analyst provides support for Retirement, Absence Management and Health and Welfare Benefits and uses a wide application of principles, theories, and concepts related to Human Resources, IS business processes, and ERP systems to provide solutions to a diverse array of difficult problems. 

[As a Senior Applications Analyst, you] May lead small to medium projects and work teams focused on the deployment of new and enhanced application functionality. Will work with business users to refine requirements, prepare functional specification documentation, perform functional and/or technical testing, and support user acceptance testing and production deployment. Work as a liaison between the technical team and business users. May also work concurrently on a number of small application enhancements and break fix incidents.

Will review Oracle Cloud HCM quarterly release notes and CWBs to both assess impact to existing functionality and makes recommendations to business users on new functionality, and support release regression testing. Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed solutions to solve data and business problems. Support and design inbound and outbound integrations. Supports the preparation of work estimates and schedules to ensure success of projects. Mentors and assists others in support of applications, projects, and goals. Frequent collaboration with business users and IS co-workers to determine appropriate solutions to complex system issues.

Required qualifications:

Combination of education and relevant experience (at least 5 years of functional experience). 5 years Application design, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more of the following large scale Enterprise Resource Planning systems - Oracle Cloud Suite, Oracle EBS/EPM (Hyperion, etc.) Applications, PeopleSoft, Workday 2 years   Demonstrated ability to successfully execute medium to complex projects; methodologies related to application management such as systems deployment, support, and life cycle; experience in process improvement methodology, change management, operational improvement in complex systems.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor’s and/or Master's Degree in Information Services, Business Management/Administration, Information Services, HCM or equivalent education/experience.    2 years experience with implementation or support of Oracle HCM Cloud Suite is highly desired, preferably with a focus on Core HR, Payroll or Benefits Administration. Strong background working on HDL/HSDL data loader, integrations, Benefit life events, retirement plan configuration as well as Payroll functionality including but not limited to processing, element entries, deductions, calculation cards and troubleshooting.  2 years experience with large scale business transformation and HR system implementation projects with scope spanning multiple regions and/or geographies and business process areas, preferably in a healthcare environment. 

This position is Full-time hybrid position – remote work will be considered. Possible required travel up to 10% of work schedule. 

The salary range listed for this position is MIN: $53.33 to MAX: $85.85 per hour based upon the primary work location Irvine, CA posted. Salary range and job offers are determined by internal pay equity and geographic cost of living differences.  Salary range will vary from state and region. Salary max is limited to 75% range to continue to offer internal pay growth. We welcome open and transparent discussions on salary at Providence.
