Senior OT Systems Engineer

We’re happy to discuss flexible working hours, patterns, and locations to suit you and the business. **What You'll Be Doing** **Job Scope:** Generally responsible for performing all aspects for complete designs of process engineering assignments. This work will be performed under general supervision. **Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:** + Develop and maintain project documentation, including design specifications and project reports + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers + Ensure that all projects meet regulatory requirements, best practices, and industry standards Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities + Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve engineering processes and procedures + Provide end user support including: Basic IP.21 user training Development of Reports, support with Excel add-ins, Trend development, development of ASPEN Graphics + Providing data access to relevant systems Modifications to the ASPEN IP.21 configuration, including addition of new tags and modification of existing tags. **Ideal Background** **Education:** Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university is required. **Registration:** Professional Engineering registration or CPIP certification is highly preferred. **Experience:** This position requires 7+ years of relevant industrial experience in chemical, petroleum, or biochemical process design engineering. **Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Strong knowledge of PIMS (Process Information Management Systems) preferably Aspen IP.21 + Experience leading engineering projects and initiatives + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Process Controls experience is a plus + Experience integrating PIMS systems with various other OT Systems (ex.
