By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled **Job Description** > Ensure North American PA packaging projects roll-out, packaging development and approval > Lead, initiation and realization of standardization and cost saving projects for packaging, in collaboration with PA PMs, PUR and packaging locations. > Ensures the interface with PA and EPI for TTM/CR/PIF/Cost optimization > Participate in other cross-functional teams involving process improvements > Coordinate development efforts with external supplier, sub-contractors and partners > Advises on the packing location decision > Budget responsibility for development and tooling costs > Organize the implementation of packaging for 1000 to 1500 products per year > Regular packaging strategy review meeting to share progress and to align strategic goals with PA > Selection of suitable packaging structures (primary-secondary) > Set specification, coordinate with graphic service for printing layouts > Approve the packaging under consideration of quality, timing and costs > Coordination with external services and regional packaging engineering > Priority setting and planning of project execution > Transparent packaging platform - portfolio and maintenance > Exchange packaging portfolio within EPI, define standards and build out synergies > Work for non-PA packaging topics > Train and make sure (external) support functions understand processes **Qualifications** > Degree in packaging engineering or comparable qualification > Fluent english, German advantageous > Engineering methods (P) > Knowledge in Packaging and packaging technologies (P) > Project Management (P) > Late stage customizing (P) > Cost savings (P) > Practical Packaging Developmet Experience to decide fast for new solutions (P) **Additional Information** All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
