Senior Paid Search Specialist (Text Ads)

The Senior Paid Search Specialist (Text Ads) will manage and optimize text-based ad campaigns across major search platforms, including Google Ads and Bing Ads. This role requires deep platform expertise and a data-driven mindset to ensure optimal performance, leveraging advanced analytics and technical skills to drive results. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working directly in search platforms, creating reports, and making data-backed optimization decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

● In-Platform Campaign Management:

Manage and optimize large-scale, text-based paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other emerging search platforms.

Handle in-platform tasks such as keyword research, bid management, ad copy testing, audience segmentation, and budget allocation.

Stay updated with platform updates and new features, implementing best practices for maximizing ad performance.

● Data Analysis & Reporting:

Perform deep-dive analysis on campaign performance using Google Ads, Bing Ads, SQL, and Excel.

Use data to make informed decisions on keyword bidding strategies, ad copy improvements, and audience targeting.

Build automated reporting dashboards to provide real-time insights into campaign performance and ROI.

● Collaboration & Optimization:

Collaborate with the creative and content teams to optimize ad copy, landing pages, and overall user experience.

Continuously test and iterate on campaigns, using A/B testing, audience experiments, and bid adjustments to optimize performance.

Work closely with the Paid Search Manager to align strategies with broader marketing goals.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

● 3+ years of experience managing text-based paid search campaigns on Google Ads and Bing Ads.

● Strong in-platform experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Analytics.

● Advanced data analysis skills using SQL, Excel, or Python and experience in building automated reporting.

● Familiarity with bid management tools, keyword research platforms, and automation scripts.

● Ability to analyze large datasets and draw actionable insights to improve campaign performance.

**Preference is for this position to be hybrid out of our Lincolnshire, IL offices. Remote candidates will be considered and occasional travel to our Lincolnshire, IL offices may be required.**

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.

Pay Range:

$75,390.00-$113,032.50 Annual
