These include planning and construction, facilities, public safety and emergency operations, environmental health and safety, transportation, housing, and auxiliary/retail operations. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Painter/Maintenance Mechanic.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: May guide or instruct other staff in the performance of a wide range of painting and mechanical duties required for all University facilities. Such duties may be based on work orders which provide little or no instruction or assistance. The Senior Painter/Maintenance Mechanic should have experience painting the interior and exterior of structures, buildings, and other surfaces. Must be knowledgeable in selecting the correct painting materials and appropriate finishes. Should be experienced with painting tools and their use in various heights and spaces while observing all health and safety precautions. Posses a great attention to detail in completing their duties.
