Minimum Qualification:
High school or equivalent; 3 years related experience. Valid Texas class C driver's license.
Job Summary:
To provide advanced skills and supervision in guiding vehicular traffic and enforcing parking and traffic regulations, and to provide service, information, and aid to all citizens as circumstances require.
Job Duties:
Traffic control in parking garages and parking lots Parking gate equipment and facility maintenance and repair tasks Parking enforcement via handheld tablets and license plate recognition technology Assists other Auxiliary Enterprises departments with logistics and event support Occasional weekend, early morning, or evening work required Supervises, schedules, and trains parking controllers and parking cashiers. Oversees daily operations of public and contract parking areas, patrols parking lots for unauthorized vehicles Observe and report hazardous conditions such as missing parking/traffic signs and street markings that need to be repainted. Reviews issued citations to ensure accuracy requirements are observed. Handles all complaints regarding citations. Provides oversight and coordination of vendor contracts related to parking areas. Maintains the appearance of the parking facilities by picking up trash, cleaning, and monitoring. Acts as manager in the event that the manager is unavailable. Submits daily activity reports and other reports as required. Adheres to internal controls established for the department. Performs related duties as required.Equipment:
Parking ticket books and state vehicles.
Work Environment:
Possible exposure to adverse weather conditions. Standard hospital, clinical, and/or office environment
Work Schedule:
Onsite, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and as needed on occasion.
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
