The opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Parts and Service Marketing Consultant.
In this role, you will develop and execute go-to-market strategies and value messaging for Hydraulic Pumps, Motors, Cylinders, and Rods within the Construction Industry. As the expert responsible for global growth strategies, you will drive profitable parts revenue and Percent of Parts Sales (POPS) growth across multiple customer segments. Serving as a senior consultant within the Construction Industries Services Division (CISD), you will be a subject matter expert in hydraulic components, a key enabler for Caterpillar’s Aftermarket parts growth strategy.
What You Will Do:
Develop Hydraulic solutions following New Services Development (NSD) framework & discipline
Mentor team members within the broader Parts & Service organization
Drive POPS growth through development of products and programs
Deliver new products and programs globally or regionally
Gather and provide Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Dealer (VOD) to the engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, pricing and logistics teams
Develop, coordinate, and present training materials to various audiences, including dealers
Work along with senior management in planning major programs and objectives for the division
Execute competitive analysis, manage parts variance, and replicate pilot solutions globally
Segment, target, and position market opportunities to gain market share
Work across various functional business units to achieve parts objectives and work with global partners along with districts, dealers and customers to implement parts marketing activities, align strategies, and drive parts growth.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:
A completed bachelor’s degree or at least a minimum of 7 years industry relevant experience.
Lean six sigma black belt and project management certified.
Strong data analytics skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Experience working in the field or with Caterpillar dealers.

Preferred work location: Melbourne, Australia
This role can also be in other CIOSD Hubs such as Chennai (India) and Johannesburg (South Africa)

Caterpillar operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of 3 days per onsite, in office.
Travel: up to 25%
