Job Description:

   

Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls.

Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Provide support to the payroll and payroll related functions of a large payroll function consistent with HPE Company Values and excellent customer support.

Perform a variety of payroll and benefit analysis to ensure processing of payroll was done timely and accurately.

Oversight of the processing of an 14k+ employee payroll through ADP GlobalView system. Audit and ensure that all policies and changes are being processed correctly.

Process Improvement - Cultivate and maintain relationships external with providers/vendors. Participate in the implementation of quality programs. Assist with the review and changing of processes as necessary to ensure proper end results. Investigates and implements alternatives to ensure future needs are met.Project Management- Work on assigned projects assuring the payroll process and company policies are adhered to and proper documentation to administer and ensure accuracy of pay is top priority, as well as keeping in mind efficiency and timeliness of all payroll activities.Vendor Management - Work closely with vendors/partners to implement/manage/trouble-shoot day to day operations and process changes.Customer service/confidentiality - Provide deep support to employee inquiries. Maintain absolute confidentiality of payroll

Provides subject matter expertise and guidance across all areas of payroll.Troubleshoots independently, quickly finding the root cause of issues.Partners with internal customers, examining moderately to highly complex issues or concerns to find a solution.Uses expert subject matter knowledge and research to identify and develop the business potential of a given project.Solves most problems independently and articulates issues across functions and businesses, collaborating with other individuals contributors, sometimes outside of the job family, to bring about solutions.Identifies and implements process improvement.Impacts high-value, large and complex projects.Generates new ideas and drive change.

About you:

US Payroll Experience: 6-10 years of progressive experience to include; multi-state taxation, stock option processing, ESPP, garnishments. Typically 5-10 years of experience as a financial analyst.Extensive knowledge of tax requirements, regulations and filings.Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or progress towards/desire to be a CPPExcellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.Excellent analytical skills.Large Company Payroll Experience using ADP or SAP payroll as well as third party tax filing processStrong problem-solving and analysis skills, ability to make fast decisions
