Senior Payroll Analyst

As a Sr. Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate resolution of complex Payroll issues impacting Restaurant team members. The position is responsible for running pay calculations, completing retroactive calculations, and reviewing and approving final documentation required to be saved for internal/external audit and backup. This role will also coordinate team training and provide support to the Payroll Manager.

Successful candidates are passionate and enthusiastic about helping others, eager to learn new skills, and are detail oriented. They enjoy problem solving in a fast-paced environment based in our Atlanta Support Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare, process, and generate Restaurant payroll via WorkdayAudit, review, and reconcile Restaurant payrolls on a weekly basisReview supporting documentation/backup for weekly audit reports distributed to Payroll CoordinatorsAssists in Training (virtual and in-person) and Development of Payroll Team Members and New HiresResponsible for team-building activities and trainingDocument and maintain best practices, including SOP’s for payroll processing and implement new procedures as neededMaintain a high level of customer service through timely resolution of escalated issuesImport Time and Bonus filesComplete Retroactive payments and audit differencesAssist with research and resolution of complex payroll related mattersMaintain a high level of confidentiality for all payroll-related itemsSupport the Payroll Manager by handling escalations and internal/external auditsCompletes ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned by payroll leadership

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma requiredUndergraduate degree in business, accounting, or related field preferredFundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred but not required3 – 5 years of payroll processing experience requiredExperience with Workday or comparable software preferred

Strong computer skillsIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills: VLOOKUP, Pivot TablesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills with great attention to detailMust have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet critical deadlinesAbility to work in a highly structured team environmentAbility to maintain strict adherence to outlined proceduresAbility to have a flexible work schedule due to work volume fluctuations
