Senior Payroll Coordinator

Responsibilities 1st Shift Senior Payroll Coordinator Hybrid Role Pay Grade NEX16 Now Hiring for a Senior Payroll Coordinator at our Cranberry Township, PA Corporate Center. In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks: Performs data entry and processes a variety of earning, deduction and tax status changes including those related to bonuses, stock compensation, disabilities, imputed income, incentives, relocations and expatriate assignments. Interprets incoming garnishment documents in accordance with federal and state laws and processes employee deductions. Processes electronic garnishment payments and fields inquiries from employees regarding payroll deductions. Monitors file feeds to/from time and attendance systems to ensure data integrity. Assists with tax processes. Reviews components of compensation for accuracy. Investigates and resolves discrepancies in payroll results. Ensures routine and non-routine transactions are recorded. Coordinates efforts with related functions and works effectively to resolve issues. Prepares accurate Accounts Payable payment requests. Ensures remittances are made to third-parties in a timely manner. Balances payroll-related accounts. Posts payroll results to the general ledger. Assists with year-end tasks and issuance of Forms W-2 and T4. Executes test plans for system changes and updates. Performs basic research on payroll or tax compliance issues. Qualifications Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize responsibilities and work in a structured, deadline–driven setting. Solid working knowledge of MS Word and Excel; familiarity with web-based applications. Solid organizational and time management skills. General understanding of HR and Benefit functions. Understanding of the importance of safeguarding confidential employee and company information. Proven ability to think independently and perform tasks with minimal supervision. Capacity to make recommendations for resolving issues and enhancing system and function efficiencies. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and establish strong relationships with business partners. Preferred: Dayforce SAP Processing and reconciliation Full life cycle payroll processing Time and Attendance General Ledger processing Education and Experience Required: High School diploma or equivalent. 4 years of payroll processing experience Education and Experience Preferred: Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business or related discipline CPP or FPC certification Proven ability to complete complex payroll calculations and experience with high level payroll concepts such as stock, expatriate and executive transactions. Advanced knowledge of MS Word / Excel and technical capabilities Experience with SAP HR/Payroll module Experience with Canadian payroll processing #LI-MI1 #LI-HYBRID
