The role you’ll contribute:
The Payroll Special Projects Sr. Analyst is responsible for assisting and collaborating in a variety of projects aimed to provide effective and accurate support and resources to the department as well as the entire organization. This role requires a motivated problem solver who can identify opportunities for improvement within Payroll Shared Services and help execute the design and implementation of new processes. The Special Projects Sr. Analyst must exhibit strong dedication to providing outstanding service, accept responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all and ensure the delivery of a high-quality service that consistently meets established performance standards within a rapidly growing enterprise.

· Responsible for managing assigned projects by prioritizing work to meet established deadlines, ensuring that objectives are accomplished while keeping management informed of project status.
· Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment (e.g., people, processes, structure, or culture); adjusting effectively to change by exploring new approaches and collaborating with others to make the change successful.
· Ability to problem solve; Develops new insights into situations and applies different and novel solutions to make improvements.
· Perform the necessary research and/or data collection to produce documentation, conveying information and ideas clearly and concisely utilizing professional and effective communication skills
· Ability to adapt to change, think quickly, and use appropriate judgment.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a calm and productive manner.
· Self-motivated, resourceful, and take initiative even when given minimal direction.
· Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
· Process benefit invoices, wire requests, cap max changes, reports, vendor sites (PSW), Unclaimed or LOA checks. Support and Validate the Payroll Portal, AHRP Retirement, Paystats, submitted vendor files, SLA metrics
· Available outside of normal business hours for support needs
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
· Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent degree from a four-year accredited university or 4 years related experience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Analytical and organizational abilities
· Proficient working independently, unsupervised and under stress
· Accuracy and attention to detail with strong proof-reading and editing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in a finance shared services or healthcare organization preferred
· Proficiency in PeopleSoft
· Advanced analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
