Responsibilities: * Senior Payroll Specialist will process high volume payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations * Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, salary changes, and deductions * Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations * Prepare and submit payroll reports and summaries to management * As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing * Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution * Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations, and implement necessary updates in the payroll system * Provide support and training to other payroll team members as needed
