Summary: As a seasoned Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll process across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices. You will utilize your expertise in UKG Pro and Workforce Management systems to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of payroll regulations, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires collaboration with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll processing. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain a deep understanding of complex payroll regulations, including US employment law, tax laws, and pension schemes * Design and implement efficient payroll processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors * Serve as the primary subject matter expert for payroll-related issues, providing guidance and support to employees and management * Manage and maintain payroll records, including employee data, time-off requests, 401k loans and deferrals, and other related information * Conduct regular payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies * Resolve payroll-related queries and errors in a timely and professional manner * Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll related information * Maintain personnel files and handle sensitive payroll data with utmost confidentiality and discretion * Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations, laws, and industry best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance the payroll process
