About the Team
The People Business Partner team at Nutanix is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and collaborative workplace culture across the EMEA region, with a specific focus on France and North West Africa. This team operates with a mission to enhance employee engagement, streamline HR processes, and provide strategic support to stakeholders, ensuring an inclusive environment that promotes growth and development. The team values cross-collaboration, mentorship, and a holistic approach to people management, aiming to align workforce strategies with the overall business goals of the organization.
You will report to the EMEA People Business Partner Director, who leads with a focus on team empowerment and collaboration. The manager emphasizes developing junior talent through mentorship, encouraging a structured approach to work that balances the responsibilities of senior and junior team members. This role will have a hybrid work setup, requiring the new hire to be in the Paris office three days a week, while allowing remote work on the remaining days.
The travel requirements for this role are very limited, with only minimal travel expected for team-building initiatives or similar activities across the EMEA region. This setup allows the new hire to maintain a strong focus on their core responsibilities while also nurturing team connections.
Your Role
Act as a trusted Senior People Business Partner to country managers and leadership teams across France and West Africa, developing strong relationships to support business objectives.Align talent management strategies with EMEA and global objectives, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and employment regulations.Drive performance management, retention, and diversity initiatives, ensuring best practices are embedded in the region.Analyze organizational health data to assess workforce trends, identify risks, and recommend data-driven solutions.Lead and execute key people programs and projects related to workforce planning, leadership development, and change management.Influence senior leadership to prioritize a strong talent management and employee engagement agenda.Develop a deep understanding of local talent challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee experience.Foster collaboration within the global People Business Partner community, sharing insights and best practices.Oversee HR compliance activities, including audits, labor law adherence, and policy implementation.Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development) to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.Establish clear structures and frameworks for effective teamwork and communication within the HR function.Change Management Expertise, given the international scope, experience in leading organizational change or transformation efforts.Employee Relations & Crisis Management – as the role involves compliance and working across multiple regions.
What You Will Bring
Minimum 15 years of experience in a relevant role (People Business Partner or HR Leadership).Fluency in French and English is mandatory.Demonstrated experience in strategic people business partnership.Strong knowledge of labour law and employee relations.Consultative HR skills with project management capabilities.Experience with psychometric testing tools (e.g., DISC).Excellent relationship-building and strategic thinking skills.Consultative people business partner skills, particularly for leadership coaching.Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Workday and Tableau.Excellent communication, relationship building, and influencing skills.Project management abilities to oversee key people management initiatives.Experience with France and West Africa labor laws, Workers Councils , Gender and Diversity Initiatives, and Employee RelationsStrong commitment to collaboration and a growth mindset.Relevant bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
