Job Summary
Information and Technology Services (ITS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior PeopleSoft Developer to join the Human Capital Management (HCM) Team within ITS.
As a member of our team, you will work on a variety of projects using the PeopleSoft suite of technologies including PeopleTools Application Designer, BI Publisher, Integration Broker, SQR, COBOL and more. You will also work with business system analysts and technical infrastructure teams to create new software solutions, integrate applications using APIs and other technologies, address application issues, and perform application maintenance. You will report to the Application Development Manager.
The primary office location of this position is in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We offer remote, hybrid or on-site work options as long as you reside full-time in the United States. May also require on-call availability and working during non-business hours.
Competitive salary is available based on qualifications, experience and education of the selected candidate. The salary range is $93,000 to $100,000.

You Will:
Develop, implement and maintain web and batch applications, reports, queries and application integrationsLead projects, forecast required time and resources, provide status updates, prioritize completion of tasks, and follow established standards and methodologyWork with customers and business systems analysts to design solutions that meet the needs of the customer and universityCoordinate and apply vendor provided software patches and maintenanceProvide production problem analysis and resolution, job scheduling, monitoring, tuning, and end-user supportDemonstrate in-depth knowledge of the business and administrative processesProvide training, guidance, and assistance to staff to accomplish goalsYou Have:
A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years experience customizing and supporting applications using Oracle/PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 application development tools, which may include PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, COBOL, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and BI PublisherExperience working with relational database technology to support web applicationsExperience developing web applications using structured techniquesKnowledge of the software development lifecycle and process improvement methodologiesProficiency with one or more procedural or object-oriented programming languagesProficiency with reporting tools, query writing and SQLAdditional Information
