Senior Performance Test Engineer

As a Performance Test Engineer you should have the following mandatory skills:8-10 years of performance test engineering experienceExpertise in performance tests with Jmeter and K6Sound knowledge on performance testing of single page applicationHands-on experience in API performance testing Experience in testing SaaS based products in AWS, handling large volumes of data Expert in compiling, analyzing and interpreting performance test resultsSound knowledge of application, server-side, DB monitoring Understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilizationAbility to understand hardware and software architectures Hands-on Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL query, C/C++/Java/Python/Ruby/JS, Unix or any other languageSound knowledge of build tools and continuous integration using Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, etc.Ability to evaluate open-source performance test tools and suggest suitable one for the application under testUnderstanding of Ruby is an added advantagePerformance testing experience with React, Mongo and Postgres technology stack is an added advantageShould be ready to work in an environment which may demand individual contribution as well as a team playerAttention to detail and good interpersonal and communication skills 

Role and Responsibilities - Execute Performance, Load, Stress, Endurance, and other non-functional performance testsMonitor application logs to determine system behaviour. Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applicationsGenerate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis  Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & bottleneck problem in the applicationYou will coordinate the performance testing activities for various product lines across OnitCollaborate with application teams to gather requirements, design and execute testsAnalyze report discrepancies to determine the root cause and evaluate script failures at a high levelCompare and analyze system behaviour vs. expected results/KPIs based on business and technical requirementsYou will identify issues, propose system improvements, and perform repetitive test execution to resolve identified issuesYou will participate in and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials
Education:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
