Job Title: Perfume Lab Technician Job Description Assist the perfumer in the development of fragrances and lead side projects in the lab. Responsibilities + Compound fragrances for the perfumer. + Prepare product samples. + Assist as a backup for the laboratory manager in quality control. + Assist quality control on fragrances for customers. + Assist the laboratory manager to process and maintain profiles and resubmissions. + Maintain a fully stocked and clean work station. + Order raw materials to maintain a fully stocked laboratory. + Understand and execute all necessary requirements for ISO 9001. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of industry experience in compounding and quality control. + Experience working in a quality control lab. + Knowledge of laboratory procedures and chemistry. + Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards. + Proficiency in sample preparation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong organizational skills. + Attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment This position is based in a lab environment. The role involves working with various laboratory equipment and maintaining a clean and fully stocked work station. The dress code is professional lab attire.
