Role Overview:
Serve as a fully coordinated member of the Pharmacy Department to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services.Oversee IV preparation and compounding extemporaneous formulationsResponsible for reviewing and processing inpatient ordersMay be required to cover other inpatient areas and the IV clean room.Key Qualifications:
PharmD (or equivalent).Valid NY Pharmacist licenseMinimum of 2 years of experience within a hospital pharmacy settingStrong computer skills and the ability to develop a good understanding of pharmacy systemsCore Skills:
Readily take on challenges, without unnecessary planning.Able to handle and manage crises effectively.Known to deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner.Able to follow through on commitments and act with a clear sense of ownership.Resourceful and make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information.Additional Information:
Shift: 5 days a week; 3:30PM-11:30PM; rotating every 3rd weekend, up to every other weekend. Rotating holidays.Location: E. 68th StreetReporting to: Manager, PharmacyPay Range: $60.93-$100.62
