CooperVision (CVI) is recruiting a Senior Planner.  The Senior Planner, leads, plans and coordinates the manufacturing workflows to assure that customer needs for our products are met.  The Sr Planner applies sound supply chain / planning depth and knowledge in executing their role as well as collaborate and partner with cross-functional stakeholders. Position works onsite in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico.  

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

Preparing and managing a wide variety of reports, performance indicators and data including MPS, inventory, line and overall manufacturing capacity, SKU specific information, utilization, work orders, cycle count, usage, scenario planning and modeling, cost analysis, schedule versus capacity analysis, among others.   Communication & negotiation of schedule and forecasts that drive and support sound decision making.   Raw materials and inserts Inventory supplies, WIP and finished goods management. Improve overall supply chain processes and performance. Work order cycle management. Establish, align, and publish MPS, adjust per the operational needs.   Preparation and distribution of comprehensive schedules.    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reporting. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.  Computer literacy (advanced MS Office), knowledge of MRPII, BPCS and related applications.   Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish

Experience:

Five (5) years of related planning, supply chain / operations experience required.   Exposure in a global, regulated, and matrixed environment strongly preferred.   

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration required.   Graduate / advanced degree and APICS certification strongly preferred.
