Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Senior Planner for a municipality customer in Hampton, VA. This candidate will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting regulations, policies, and department procedures. This candidate will also be responsible for reports, projections, and conducting briefing to present in front of various council meetings. The salary ranges between $57,000 and $103,000. Skills and Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience. Bachelor's degree in Urban or Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, Business Administration, or Environmental Science. Experience collecting and analyzing data which draws effective conclusions and problem solves issues facing the zoning and planning department. Extensive knowledge of developing comprehensive plans, ordinances and programs to provide growth of land and physical facilities for the city. Experience mentoring junior planners.
