Due to increasing workloads & project pipeline this business is looking to bring in a Senior/ Lead Planner into their business. The position is based in Gauteng.
If you have several years’ construction planning experience, ideally working on data centres projects in South Africa. The client wants a self-starter, a reliable pair of hands. You should have a proven experience of managing a large construction build from tender stage, putting the program plan together from 1st principles & managing the plan through to project completion.

Job Responsibilities: A strong knowledge of the full lifecycle of a hyperscale data centre build project from civils works, to build & project completion. Experience working on the general contractor side. Be tough, self-motivated & with the single-mindedness to achieve goals. Be able to communicate well & to influence colleagues & clients at all levels. Inspire confidence & be a good representative for the company. Be adept at keeping cool under pressure, can manage time effectively & skilled in prioritising tasks. Comfortable challenging main contractors on the project.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements: An academic qualification in a construction or civil engineering subject. Be proficient using Primavera P6 & MS Project. Projects’ experience, data centres. Proven experience of managing a large construction build from tender stage, putting the program plan together from 1st principles & managing the plan through to project completion. Good data analytics expertise, delay analysis, progress validation, change management, etc. Strong experience with CSA, M&E & commissioning. Fluent in English.
