Senior Planner / HPM
Description

The Senior Planner will provide leadership support to the Vice President of Planning Services. This will include day-to-day management for clients and oversight of team(s) associated with planning projections. In this role you may be required to travel up to 50% of the time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Create planning/facilities standards through observation of operations procedures of clients.Develop client relationships leading to project and program opportunities.Identify and respond to RFP’s and RFQ’s and lead marketing and interviewing efforts to acquire new work. Manage planning processes for multiple clients, while maintaining schedule and project budget.Manage team(s) and display experience in managing teams on a National Level.
Provide strategic and clear communication in all formats (written, spoken, social media, public presentations, etc.) on behalf of HPM clients and public audiences.
Work with Facilities Assessment teams to coordinate data that integrates into planning processes.
Work with Program Management team(s) to integrate planning services into Design Management and continuous update of date during a multi-year capital program.


Education Requirements: 

BS in Urban Planning, Architecture, Geographic Information Systems, or related field

Requirements:

10-15 Years Project management and/or Planning Experience in multiple sectors including: K12 Education, Higher Education, Manufacturing/Distribution, Transportation/Logistics preferredMust be proficient/work with Microsoft Office products, Geographic Information Systems [GIS], and data base management Experience in RFP/RFQ response development and interviewing for project workExperience in marketing and/or business development to engage new clients and renew existing client relationships
