Job Description

The Experienced Analyst is responsible for establishing optimal planning methods parameters for the Spine portfolio of products. The role is also responsible for identifying and addressing E2E plan imbalances via exception-based and scenario-based methodologies to achieve the most profitable balance of customer service, cost, and inventory for the portfolio of products. This role is part of the Global Plan team supporting the Spine platform and will partner with global planning colleagues, regional global supply chain teams, product management, value stream leaders, finance and commercial/marketing.

Key Responsibilities

E2E Planning Optimization Supply Chain Configuration

Optimize planning methods and parameters, establish segmentations, tolerances/triggers for alerts and customer concernSet supply chain parameters in alignment with Jabil and external suppliers (e.g. batch sizes, make frequencies, safety stock levels, minimum order quantities, lead times, etc.)Orchestrate E2E planning: identify and address E2E plan imbalances (customer service, cost, and inventory)Implement process and system improvements to streamline E2E product planningInventory OptimizationIdentify and implement structural inventory optimization (multi echelon)Drive SLOB avoidance and support SLOB managementSupport inputs to financial planning and reportingSense RespondGenerate smart alerts to identify exceptions across the network and support issue resolution from a planning perspectiveAssess exceptions for business impact and categorize for critical issue (STEM)Identify trends, drive continuous improvement and capture lessons learnedProvide inputs for strategic capacity management/long range planning for the portfolioIBP Process Scenario PlanningActively participate and represent the Global Planning team in the IBP processOrchestrate demand/supply/inventory for the key brands in each step of the monthly IBP process, translate into insights actions and E2E scenarios to drive E2E trade-offs/decisionsAlign with key stakeholders on scenario selection and ensure timely publication of resultsNew Product Introduction PlanningOptimize NPI planning hierarchy parametersOrchestrate demand, supply, and inventory NPI plan and Supply commits through the stage gatesIdentify and mitigate NPI planning risks through the IBP processMetrics/KPISupport and implement E2E tools and experiment with AI in planning to enable quicker insights for decision-making and proactive risk identificationSupport reporting, monitoring, and highlighting gaps to drive KPI improvement in service, cost and inventory (OTIF, CBO, Plan Attainment, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory $/units, SLOB).

Education
