Senior Platform Engineer

Barbaricum is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platform Engineer for the National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency (NGA ARCHES) Program. The  Senior Platform Engineer is a critical role within the NGA ARCHES Program, serving as a technical and functional advisor to the Government AI Model Manager supporting the oversight of overhead imagery computer vision model development, training, and deployment.Responsibilities Collaborate with Product/Engagement and Platform Engineering divisions to facilitate the validation of customer requirements and incorporate feedback and requested features into the AI development process.Assist with the development and management of overall program requirements, scope, schedules, and deliverables with integrated teams, partners, and stakeholders.QualificationsActive DoD TS/SCI clearance required Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline.Requires broad knowledge of AI model development processes, ability to communicate with external and internal stakeholders and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.Desired Qualifications Ability to manage diverse teams and competing priorities.Exceptional human relations and communication (written, verbal, and listening) skills and ability to effectively communicate across disciplines and stakeholders.Diverse technical experience, including AI model development, software engineering, regulated software quality and risk management, and monitoring of deployed software.Understand working in a compliance based and regulated environment, including building, deploying, and supporting secure software throughout the AI development life cycle.Experience with data modeling and data exploration tools, including expertise in the use of scientific computing and data management packages.Experience working in a joint military environment.For more information about Barbaricum, please visit our website at .  We will contact candidates directly to schedule interviews.  No phone calls please.
