14 Senior Platform Manager
Hybrid –Basingstoke or Dorking 2-3 days a week minimum

What will you bring?

We are recruiting a Senior Platform Manager to provide technical and managerial leadership in the development and operation of our core platform infrastructure. The successful candidate will be able to lead the way in architecting and overseeing the development of platform management such as (but not limited to) self-service platforms, infrastructure provisioning, container orchestration, and cloud-native architecture bringing to bear their extensive knowledge in best practices in platform management and infrastructure as code (IaC).

This role is critical in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform, empowering development teams to build and deploy software efficiently. You will drive the evolution of our platform strategy while managing a team of talented engineers who design and maintain robust, self-service infrastructure solutions.

You will lead, mentor, and foster growth and professional development. Additionally, you will define and execute the platform roadmap in alignment with organisational goals. 

This role requires close collaboration with delivery, QA, Data, and DevOps teams to design and implement scalable platform solutions. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate a compelling vision and need for change, generating excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment to the process. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms.
