We are looking for a deep technical but life science oriented Technologist to join our team.
The role will work with a diverse group of people that are passionate about providing grounbreaking solutions to our Discovery and Development teams, so they can design and develop novel medicines that will have maximum impact in treating unmet medical need. The larger team's objective is to support and accelerate RD innovation, by delivering to our RD laboratories around the world, outstanding lab informatics solutions and drive operational excellence.
The platform will support many data streams for a variety of different laboratories. Operational efficiency, observability, improvement and management of change are key attributes that need to be maintained, so the platform can meet our scientists need for producing data, AI-ready.
Key ResponsibilitiesDefine vision, goals and objectives for the platforms group, co-shaping strategic demand with the product managers, aligning business and technology strategiesYou will collaborate closely with multi-functional teams, vendors, and partners to ensure the processes and platforms are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.You are responsible for the following research platforms: Electronic Lab Notebooks, Laboratory Information Management/Lab Execution Systems, Inventory systems, In-Vivo systemsLead, develop and strengthen a team of about 3-5 platform managers, engineers and analysts, providing technical guidance, support, and mentorship. Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Bring technical expertise to guide the design, architecture, and implementation of software solutions.Collaborate effectively with all parties in IT and in the labs, to ensure alignment of goals and expectations.Analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Solve technical issues, propose innovative solutions, and anticipate potential challenges.Handle multiple projects simultaneously. Prioritize tasks effectively, ensure timely completion. PG 31 The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000- $203,550The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
• Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
