Overview:
Our client is looking for a Senior Port Duty Manager to oversee the safe, effective, and efficient operation of port activities in Zeebrugge, Belgium. This role is critical in delivering operational excellence, ensuring compliance, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership
Lead, develop, and motivate port teams to achieve operational excellence. Ensure the smooth delivery of port services in line with commercial strategy. Drive a high-performance culture, focusing on efficiency and customer experience. HSSE & Compliance
Champion a strong Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) culture. Ensure full compliance with internal and external legislation, procedures, and security standards (ISPS Code, Port Security Plans, etc.). Drive continuous improvement in safety and operational performance. Stakeholder & Resource Management
Represent the business in dealings with port authorities, agencies, and other stakeholders. Manage dockside infrastructure, plant, and machinery to optimize port operations. Maintain strong employee relations through engagement with unions and staff representatives. Key Result Areas:

Experience:
Proven management experience in a port environment. Strong understanding of maritime operations and service delivery. Background in leading large teams, operational change, and stakeholder engagement. Commercially focused with a solid grasp of Health & Safety regulations. Education:
Relevant qualifications in port/maritime operations, logistics, or management.
