Your Tasks and Responsibilities
As technology sales support specialist, the senior presales consultant (m/f/d) must address key challenges generated during the sales process for our software solution OneSumX, like identifying client's needs, completing RFP/RFI's, presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concepts which meet customer business requirements, tracking and keeping up to date with banking regulatory changes, including local Austrian (German) regulatory requirements, and educating peers as well as other people across our organization.
Listen to and understand our prospects business requirements.
Helping to qualify sales leads.
Position and demonstrate our financial risk management solution (ALM, Market risk, Liquidity Risk, stress testing, Capital management and Basel 4/CRR3 risk regulatory models) relative to the prospects business.
Position and demonstrate benefits and the value added of our solutions partnerships.
Position and demonstrate Regulatory Reporting Solutions to address local OeNB legislation (Austrian regulations) and Kreditwesengesetz/BaFin in Germany.
Articulate our value proposition throughout all steps in the sales process.
Build and maintain use cases and demonstration setups of specific software modules.
Preparing and conducting product workshops and proof of concepts on prospect sites.
Generating pre-sales support documents.
Provide financial and business content and business subject expertise to current and prospective customers as well as internal peers.
Completing RFI/RFP's.
Conducting functional gap analyses and addressing business issues raised by prospects and working together with sales to ensure the closure of the process.
Represents the presales team and FRR during marketing events such as Market Insight, customer conference and other meetings.
Communicate market information collected during customer / prospect meetings with PM managers.
Help to reduce the product and solutions gaps and improve alignment between presales and product management teams, processes, and systems to win more business.
Qualifications and Skillset
At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in banking / economics / finance / mathematics or related fields
7+ years of experience in a presales / consulting role
Thorough knowledge of banking products, instruments, systems, and processes.Knowledge of EBA legislation (e.g. COREP, FINREP, CRD 5 new components) is nice to have
A very good command of German and English (written and spoken)
Excellent presentation & communication skills
Ability to work independently & do self-learning
Willingness to travel on a regular basis (mainly in the DACH region)
