Senior Pricing Analyst

The Sr. Pricing Analyst will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Pricing, working collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product and Engineering to drive key decisions impacting Pricing and GTM strategy.   The Sr. Pricing Analyst will partner with sales to assess deal requests and make recommendations based on strategic initiatives.

This role will be responsible for developing analyses for internal and external stakeholders and making recommendations that drive customer and revenue growth.  The Sr. Pricing Analyst will identify process improvement opportunities, incorporate feedback from partners, and lead the development of standardized analytics and KPI reporting up to and including the ELT Leadership team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Work with the sales team on pricing negotiations/exceptions to ensure pricing strategy is maintainedPartner with Sales to make decisions on strategic deals that align with margin requirements and corporate growth strategyPartner with the Sr. Manager Pricing on KPI development and trackingAdhere to turnaround SLA for quote review process, escalating when necessaryWork closely with the broader Sales Operation function to conduct analysisCommunicate Pricing Strategy to Sales and other cross functional teamsWork within Anaplan to develop and track metrics for ELT reportingThis role will have very limited interaction with external customers, however, will require frequent preparation of analysis for customer-facing presentations

Critical Experience and Skills:

Analytical Thinking - Ability to think through a problem, identify elements and form data-driven solutions while taking into account business case, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunitiesAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsStrong Excel skills - Relational table developmentStrong communication skills, specifically with sales functionAnaplan or similar relational toolsDemonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentMinimum of 4+ years working with either revenue reporting, financial analysis, pricing, deal structuring, commissions calculationHigh proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, relational databases and building decision support modelsBachelor’s Degree, Finance / Accounting / Engineering / BusinessDemonstrated familiarity with SQL, Anaplan or other similar analytical toolsExperience creating reporting / analysis to inform strategic decision makingSalesforce / CRM experience proficiency
