Position Purpose
The Revenue Management organization for the CHEP NA is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of pricing & market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. The team uses modelling, analytics and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our services.
As a Pricing Analyst for Value and Digital Support, you will be responsible for analyzing pricing strategies based on digitized asset information and developing pricing models for SaaS (Software as a Service) and value-based pricing for digital solutions. You will work closely with the NA Digital team, marketing, and sales teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing solutions that meet those needs.
Major/Key Accountabilities
Support the strategic pricing process, analytics, and execution across the CHEP North America.Collaborate with the Sales, Revenue Management, Finance and Marketing teams to define pricing structure for company services and products.Work with the product management and marketing teams to design, implement and measure pricing actions to provide data on pricing achievement and portfolio management scenarios and opportunities.Assist with value chain analysis for the business and help to deliver key metrics to support improved service, cost reductions and product differentiation.Suggest improvements to existing technology tools that can assist with effective pricing management.Conduct research and analysis to understand market trends, pricing strategies, and customer needs for digital solutions. This will include monitoring competitor pricing, analyzing customer feedback, and reviewing market data to identify pricing opportunities.Develop pricing models based on active and passive asset digitization that align with business needs, customer needs, and business objectives for digital solutions. This may include developing pricing tiers, bundling pricing, and creating pricing promotions.Collaborate with NA Digital team to understand the features and benefits of asset digitization (autonomous and passive) and each digital solution and develop pricing models that reflect the value proposition of each solution.Manage the pricing and discounting of digital solutions to ensure consistency and accuracy. This will include working with NA Digital, Brambles Digital, and the sales team to provide pricing guidance and review discount requests.Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing strategies and models to identify areas for improvement. This may include analyzing digitized asset data, sales data, and customer feedback to optimize pricing models.Communicate pricing strategy and models to key stakeholders, including NA Digital, Brambles Digital, regional Digital teams, marketing, and sales teams. This will involve presenting pricing recommendations and collaborating on pricing strategy changes.Communicate findings effectively to relevant teams in the company.Perform other duties as assigned.Measures

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Data science recommended; MBA preferred. A minimum of 4 - 7 years of work experience preferably in Pricing strategy and analytics & Revenue Management. Knowledge of pricing principles, strategy and yield management techniques in a B2B type environment is an added advantage. Experience in supply chain, rental analytics or similar industries is beneficial.Experience
Demonstrated work experience in pricing and measurable results driving profit through pricing strategies.Experience with a major ERP/CRM/BI system and tools, such as Salesforce, Tableau, SAP, Siebel preferred. Experience with pricing analytics software is a bonus.Strong organizational and project management skills and the capability to manage several projects at the same time.Skills and Knowledge
Use data analytics tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, and Microsoft Excel etc. to enhance data-driven pricing guidelines/tools for the commercial teams, including but not limited to: build system/platform to aggregate competitive intelligence, inform pricing choices (i.e. promo design, contract modeling) for share gain and market penetration, and optimize price/volume trade-off.Demonstrated analytical capability, and problem-solving skills in a complex environmentExperience interfacing with leaders across multiple organizations with varying objectives (Sales, Marketing, Finance).Candidate would have a minimum of 2 - 7 years in revenue management, pricing management, or sales/commercial finance type roles.Effectively communicate and work with the sales and commercial leadership.
