Senior Pricing Manager

Job Details:

This position will provide support to Sales and BU teams. Responsible for executing strategies and tactics of the business unit relative to
volume and margin. Work with Finance to understand costs and collaborate with cross functional partners to provide relevant
solutions for category and customer pricing. Coordinate on new items pricing strategy; assist in managing maintaining and verifying portfolio
of formula fixed or other methods of pricing to ensure accurate pricing and revenue generation as it relates to fair market value and costing
and support the Request for Pricing process to ensure price quote is accurate and within category strategic assumptions. Verify cost and
develop financial pro-formas for management review and post audit analysis of pricing strategy. Support finance in controlling margins;
support the business in risk management and experience working with and understanding the commodity exchanges and price volatility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to pricing strategies (both customer and category)
• Lead execution of tactical initiatives
• Customer and category P&L analysis to result in improving bottom line results.
• Support the sales team and ensure the alignment with customer analysis and pricing
• Support the BU team and ensure category strategy is pushed out to customer teams.
• Must be customer focused when prioritizing requests as well as in the creativity of financial recommendations to meet customer needs
• Support the negotiating contractual obligations
• Support the annual planning process as well as the long term strategic processes
• Support Sales and Supply Chain teams to ensure costs are properly reflected in P&L
• Interact with a wide range of internal customers based on assignment
• Analyze planned trade event contracts to make recommendations for adjustment and future customer plans
• Provide feedback regarding competitive climate to product management
• Support the forecast process for gross sales that reflects upcoming pricing actions
• Support central accounting team in resolution of deductions

Requirements:


Education: Bachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 5+ years in related field – prefer CPG experience
Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel, understanding of PowerPoint and understanding of SAP
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to communicate clearly with senior management
Special Skills: Knowledge of foodservice or CPG industry preferred

Travel: 1-4 trips per year
