The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a full complement of sales, trading and research capabilities, to corporate, government and institutional clients. We focus on our clients' overall financial needs, with consideration and respect for their total relationship with Wells Fargo.

The Senior Prime Brokerage Salesperson is expected to be able to manage and optimize equity finance trading activities with top sophisticated and complex alternative investments fund. Collaboration with various areas of risk management, compliance, sales, funding and treasury, and other trading desks will be a priority. Generating profitable strategies that utilize our broadening capabilities and meet all regulatory guidelines to drive the success of the Equities business is a priority for this position.

The successful candidate will:

Advise experienced leadership to develop client financial objectivesAnalyze gathered facts to reach a conclusion for more complex mattersIdentify opportunities to mitigate legal, regulatory, reputational, and financial risksLead the strategy to gain insight into the clients financial goals that require in-depth evaluation, and deliver solutions that are long-term and large-scaleProvide vision, direction, and expertise to experienced leaders on implementing innovative and significant business solutions for client objectivesEngage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as a skilled advisor to leadershipHave experience in a variety of tasks for moderately complex to complex transactions or processes that require in-depth knowledge of Securities products and Prime Brokerage servicesMonitor and track referrals and manage own prospect and client pipeline.Provide regulatory supportProvide customer service by solving operational issuesMentor and train juniorsVersed in complex portfolios and financing transactionsDevelop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CRF 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.


Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

BS/BA degree or higher10+ years experience within Prime Finance Experience covering billion dollar hedge funds, private equity, corporate and ETF companies and building strong relationshipsExperience with Delta1, Futures and OTC offeringsStrong analytical and quantitative skillsEffective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills​Team-oriented mindset and work in close partnership with the various sales and trading teams and relevant support partnersEnergetic self-starter who is detail oriented while possessing effective communication skills.

$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
