Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant-Big Data Cloud

Skills – Genpact LLC seeks Senior Principal Consultant-Big Data Cloud in Richardson, TX to develop detailed project schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports for technical projects related to Big Data and Cloud projects and systems across applications and technologies (e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, and ERP Integrations (Oracle, SAP, etc.) with middleware services like SOAP, REST, Big Data technologies etc.). Define architectural solutions for the engineering team. Work with client executives to define the project scope, risk, requirements, set up the team, and align roles and responsibilities. Work on solutions, approaches, and strategies to deploy/implement processes on AWS based on the current deployment process. Work on requests for proposals (RFPs) and new proposals across Genpact for Cloud and Big Data based leads. Employ expertise in security architecture and regulations for Cloud-based applications, as well as in AWS, Google Cloud, and Big Data tools and services. Employ knowledge of Platfora, Pentaho, Informatica Power Center/BDM, AWS Ecosystem, Google Cloud Ecosystem, Hadoop, HDFS, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Matillion, Teradata, AS400 System, Data Stage, among others. Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet needs of customers. Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, as well as adhere to high-quality standards and meet customer expectations. Report on project progress throughout the project lifecycle. Obtain business and information technology sponsor approvals and coordinate the resources necessary to successfully complete the project. Communicate major milestones and identify potential project risks. Conduct regular status meetings to review project activities and manage prioritization procedures. Set and manage client expectations, managing and escalating issues and changes. Measure progress toward goals and revise project objectives. Document change control procedures. Evaluate the impacts and risks of changes from multiple perspectives, assign tasks that are necessary to reduce or eliminate those considerations, determine tentative implementation dates, and tabulate results of the implementation. Develop methods to measure customer satisfaction and obtain feedback at critical milestones and at project completion to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations for time, cost, and results. Anticipate and identify tasks required to support change processing including performing change impact analysis, assigning tasks to project team members, verbally communicating complex issues, verifying that tasks are completed, and communicating implementation status. Responsible for changes to applications software and systems environments to ensure that changes to the environment have been properly analyzed and adequately coordinated and do not adversely impact the company’s ability to meet published customer service level agreements. Contribute to implementation success and technical system stability by using change methodologies that assure the reliability of business and operations information management systems. Create and apply project control techniques that reduce risk from changing technological infrastructure hardware, automations, systems software, or applications systems. Manage the most complex, most strategic projects under minimal to no supervision. Responsible for planning of resources for tasks, allocation, estimation, scheduling, and risk management. Responsible for budget management, including costing, tracking of status, and resolving cost issues. Ensure projects/products are supportable and sustainable in production.

Education – Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering (all), Computer Science, Technology, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position also requires 4 years of experience in a Solution Architect role; 4 years of experience with Project/Program Management teams; and 4 years of experience with application development and maintenance. The position headquartered in Richardson, TX with travel required to unanticipated project sites throughout the U.S. based on client need.
