Simply put, we connect people with moments that matter. **Senior Principal - Data & Analytics Monetization** This is a key position within Sabre's Lodging, Ground & Sea (LGS) organization responsible for overseeing the process of turning data into a valuable asset by strategically utilizing it to generate revenue through monetization, creating data-driven products and improving internal operations based on data insights. As a key member of the Sabre LGS commercial team, you will leverage your statistical and business expertise to translate business questions into data analysis and models, define suitable KPIs, and graphically present results to a wide range of audiences including internal and external clients. In addition, you will + Identify relevant sources of data that can be used together to create more meaningful insights. + Work with commercial teams to develop data-driven insights to help customers reach their KPI’s in the Lodging, Ground and Sea supply vertical + Develop and implement data models and algorithms to enhance Sabre’s revenue optimization opportunities + Design and implement new data and reporting suites for enhanced reporting and revenue management capabilities for suppliers and agency customers + Collaborate on the creation of proof-of-concept data manipulation scripts in to determine the feasibility of using our data sets to create a desired analysis. + Collaborate on the development and application of data mining and machine learning algorithms for advanced analysis and prediction + Train AI models to do deep real-time analysis of dynamic data streams You will also utilize your strong communication skills to work with developers to support product development cycles and decision makers who need empirical data from various teams within a large matrixed organization to promote sales, growth, and determine product direction for data products. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to transform data into a significant revenue stream while improving the overall customer experience. **Responsibilities** + Identify potential data sets with commercial value, defining monetization goals, and creating a roadmap to achieve them. + Ensure data is properly managed, secured, and complies with privacy regulations while maximizing its monetization potential. + Lead projects with data scientists and analysts to extract meaningful insights from the data to create valuable data products or services + Collaborate with different departments within the company to identify how data can be leveraged to enhance internal operations and revenue streams. This will include working with the supply and demand teams on performance measurement, with the media team on ad reporting and attribution and with our point-of-sale teams on optimizing display for conversion and revenue opportunities + Understand market needs and identifying potential buyers for data sets, including creating customer segments based on data analysis + Build pricing models with commercial team to determine the appropriate pricing structure for data products and services based on market value and data quality + Ensure the necessary data infrastructure is in place to collect, store, and access data efficiently for monetization purposes. + Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets and run proof of concept studies. + Conceive data solutions to be offered as products to Sabre’s partners and customers **Preferred Required Qualifications** + Travel and Hospitality distribution domain expertise in leisure and corporate contexts preferred. + Relevant degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning or related Quantitative disciplines. + Proven ability to apply modeling and analytical skills to real-world problems. + Experience in development and delivery of revenue generating models and products. + Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks. + Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications. + Complete extremely diverse/complex work with minimal direction, diverse interactions and limited knowledge resources.
