Senior Principal Engineer - Business Analysis

We are seeking a talented individual to join our CIS team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Mumbai/Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Principal Engineer - Business Analysis

We will count on you to:

Work directly with the HR and CIS-HR teams on a cross-application basis to support the Workday system for Human Resources (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruiting and Learning).Ensure the system is up-to-date and participate on the design, implementation and support of new features, enhancements and upgrades.Design, implement & support features of the Workday platform for Human Resources.Independently address issues and design decisions of moderate to high complexity having HR as the client and doing the interface with the technical Workday team.Deliver clear communication and documentation of complex concepts and issues related to applications, interfaces, data structures, and workflows.Keep up to date with the Workday platform upgrades and new feature release coordinating the testing process with the HR team and the technical updates with the development team.Coordinate with IT development teams to manage the development process and resolve issues.Prepare and execute testing plans to ensure high quality results.Monitor results from Kainos weekly regression testing of Workday Business Processes, Security Permissions and Eligibility RulesCreate and run packs through Kainos to test Workday changes in all areas
 

What you need to have: 

Minimum 7 years of overall IT experience with at least 4 years working with Workday HR business processes, primarily around employee services, employment life cycle, payroll and benefits.Experience with Kainos (preferred)Experience documenting process designs to meet organizational goals, improve efficiency, and reduce risk.Experience in business analysis or a related field.Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Knowledge and experience in understanding enterprise requirements including a strong appreciation for understanding security, data, and business usage requirements.Advanced knowledge in strategic solution delivery models to ensure products and/or services continue to innovate and to drive continuous improvement: ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.
