Do you have a Critical Infrastructure Strategy/Policy background supporting national level mission challenges with background in Operational Technology (OT) or Control Systems? Have you learned about or worked with OT/Control Systems and have an interest in supporting an exciting mission set? This senior principal is responsible for developing and executing MITRE’s strategy for the advancement of our work in the processing, exploitation, analysis and dissemination of intelligence information for critical infrastructure and associated interagency coordination. This role requires close collaboration with senior government leaders, L500 leadership, program divisions, staff across the company working in the intelligence domain, relevant Innovation Area Leads, and project leadership. supporting sponsor opportunities related to this exciting area.
Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior Principal for Critical Infrastructure Intelligence Strategy Coordination to lead cutting-edge research and development initiatives aimed at enhancing critical infrastructure interagency intelligence coordination, collaboration and intelligence operationalization as it relates to critical infrastructure systems. You will work closely with senior leadership and oversee multiple projects and initiatives to ensure sponsor integration of intelligence information to support the protection of critical infrastructure from cyber threats. Your role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with various stakeholders to drive innovation in intelligence as it relates to critical infrastructure protection.

Leadership and Strategy:
Lead and manage cyber infrastructure intelligence strategy projects to better operationalize and disseminate intelligence to defend CIDevelop and implement advanced cybersecurity strategies for OT systems, ensuring alignment with national security objectives.Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to support organizational goals and key stakeholder with experience in leading interagency policy committees and interagency strategy coordination committees to achieve mission outcomesResearch and Development:
Conceptualize and conduct groundbreaking research in intelligence exploitation, analysis and dissemination as it relates to OT cybersecurity, cyber-physical systems and industrial control systems.Lead high-risk, high-visibility experimentation and operations to identify and mitigate cyber threats to critical infrastructure.Oversee the development of new intelligence exploitation, analysis and dissemination technologies and solutions for critical infrastructure that can support stakeholders across classification fabrics.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including private critical infrastructure intelligence and operational components, government agencies, industry partners, and MITRE FFRDCs as well as relevant Innovation Centers to identify cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.Present research findings and policy recommendations to senior leadership in government, senior policymakers and industry forums.Engage in business development efforts to expand the company’s critical infrastructure cybersecurity portfolio.Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of researchers and engineers in the development and deployment of intelligence tools that support critical infrastructure cybersecurity intelligence needs.Ensure the team is well-organized, trained, and equipped to handle the complexities of interagency critical infrastructure cybersecurity intelligence challenges.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.Basic Qualifications:
Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI required.Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Prior experience in managing interagency policy committees and the interagency policy processPrior experience leading or participating in interagency strategy coordination committeesProven track record of leading innovative projects and teams in a high-stakes environment.Deep expertise in the policy and technical challenges facing critical infrastructure intelligence research and development.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Expertise in cybersecurity technologies and best practices.Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience growing and managing technical teams.Ability to conduct and lead cutting-edge research and experimentation.Excellent project management skills, with a focus on delivering high-impact results.Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site.Preferred Qualifications:
