Senior Principal Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud
What we are looking for:
Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Senior Principal Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud who can support the development, enhancements, and maintenance to the KDP cloud infrastructure.
As the Senior Principal Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud, you will…
• Develop the design for cloud and on-premise infrastructure systems and solutions.
• Build, test, implement, and support the cloud and on-premise network infrastructure.
• Provide expert knowledge on cloud infrastructure and platforms and Offer cloud-engineering thought leadership.
• Work closely with third-party suppliers, advise on support issues and deliver improvement recommendations.
• Help to establish an “agile infrastructure” capability.
• Support resilience activities.
• Support architects working on new cloud solutions.
• Participate in planning and optimization activities, including capacity, reliability, cost management and performance engineering.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults and undertaking repairs.
• Improve reliability, scalability and efficiency by working with product engineers and site reliability engineers.
Who you are:
• Deep knowledge of system dev. life cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., waterfall, spiral, SAFe, agile, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize and DevOps)
• Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure, hybrid cloud models, and cloud platforms.
• Deep knowledge of developing a cloud strategy and managing cloud operations.
• Deep knowledge of various network types. E.g., LAN, WAN and WLAN, networking basics and virtual networks.
• Expert knowledge of automation and configuration management tools.
• Expert knowledge of integration technologies such as RESTful APIs.
• Expert knowledge of tools and methods to conduct application assessment for cloud suitability.
• Expert cloud security, cloud networking, containerization skills.
• Leading automation and orchestration skills.
• Leading cloud governance skills.
• Proven ability to translate the cloud strategy and architecture into a highly available and secure technical implementation in accordance with best practices.
• Expert ability to continuously monitor and optimize the cloud implementation for technical efficiency and cost-efficiency.
• Expert ability to implement cloud governance, build deploy, and monitor standards.
• Expert ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of technical terminology.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Typically, 7+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.
• Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments. (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications Required:
• Cloud provider certifications (preferred)
