Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Senior Principal Supply Chain Specialist 4; to join our Strategic Space System Division working 100% onsite at our Space Park facility in Redondo Beach, CA. Responsibilities:

Defines and develops material strategyResponsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all productsParticipates in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line managementAnalyzes and aggregates supply / demand requirementsAnalyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) toolsPlans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirementsAssesses rough-cut capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirementsCreates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustmentsParticipates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outsInterfaces with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as neededCreates/releases requisitionsReceives/reviews requirements for non-standard partsAnalyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experienceIn lieu of a degree, additional 4 years of professional experienceExperience with SAP/Enovia/TableauAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in inventory, manufacturing, procurement, contracts and subcontracts.

Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
