Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer with MTSI you will provide technical and programmatic advice and support services on a suite of advanced weapon system, sensor, and computer processing related technologies and programs. This position will be located at Hanscom AFB.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

Providing critical technical advisory support to integration planning and implementation for the DAF PEO C3BM BATTLE NETWORK. This position requires collaboration across multiple organizations and lines of effort.The ideal candidate will have extensive acquisition experience particularly in supporting the development of acquisition interoperability strategies for a complex multi-system-of-systems information technology architecture; consulting with numerous program representatives to evaluate functional requirements, supporting government officials in approval of acquisition documents (e.g. acquisition strategies), monitoring & advising on program execution/integration (e.g. schedule, risks) on behalf of government officials.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

15+ years of relevant technical experience. Experience working on classified and special access programs.Must be located within commuting distance of Hanscom AFB, MA to support in person attendance needs.Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant discipline.Must have a TS clearance with in-scope SSBI, SCI and SAR eligibility.Must be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, can accomplish high-level tasks independently, and works well with other team members and customers.Must have a high level of motivation, be adept at exploring and learning about new technologies, and have a demonstrated record of successfully taking ownership and responsibility for projects.Must have a demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate with both internal and external organizations to accomplish common goals.Must have the ability to multi-task, respond to quick turn-around requests, and produce quality products with minimal oversight.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Knowledge of the Air Force Research Laboratory’s framework, directives, and policies.Experience working on-site in a government client environment.

Security Clearance Level Required: Top Secret with in-scope SSBI and SCI eligibility

Travel Requirement: 25% travel within the US will be required
